Just another Camden Yards harangue. My family went down to the Yards on 8/04 to see the Olympic squads for Greece and Canada play each other. A neighbor was one of the Canada team catchers. Since it was a (very early) day game, attendance was not too big, maybe 250 folks. Balls were getting hit into the stands. Kids were naturally running to get them. Perhaps to keep them!?!? Nay! The ushers, per instructions from the mgmnt (or say they said), made the kids give the balls to them. Is this Angelos' doing? Our neighbor/baseball player said it certainly wasn't per the Team Canada's request. Take me out to the ballgame (and let me run around to collect balls for the ushers), indeed.
